Meet Steve Deakin
Steve Deakin first picked up a tennis racquet at five years old and learned the game with his dad. He went on to win 11 Canadian National Titles, earn an ATP ranking, and represent Canada as a two-time Senior World Team player and captain.
After a tennis injury in 2017, Steve found pickleball and never looked back. He is now a multi-major medalist, five-time Canadian National Champion and winner of numerous pro doubles titles. Between competitions, he leads clinics and camps across Canada.
We’re excited to drop this new Cumulative league at the The Nest Sports and get people out playing competitively. Men’s is Monday 6-8 pm and Women’s is Wednesday 6-8pm. Whether you think you’re a 3.0 3.5 or 4.0…..play the league that gives you player stats and a weekly posted Leaderboard.

Another fun heat off the charts weekend in AZ. Alka Strippoli was a genuine champ and we battled hard to come away with Silver.
